Coming off a successful debut of their initial golf apparel clothing line in 2008, B.G.D. has just released its new designs for 2009.

“The positive response I received from my initial designs was beyond my expectations,” said Joseph Coonick, B.G.D. creator and owner.

“I knew I had created something unique in the golf apparel industry, but in this tough economy, I just couldn’t foresee such an immediate demand.”

Starting out with only six t-shirt designs in 2008, demand for polo’s and jackets, as well as new designs, forced the hand of B.G.D. to expand its line in 2009. Included in the spring 2009 line are several new t-shirt designs, long and short sleeve polos, windbreakers and jackets, and keyboard wrist pads. All products include the B.G.D. logo and are created on high quality fabrics for both comfort and style. Two recent showings by B.G.D. at the Denver Golf Expo in Denver and the North Texas Golf Expo in Dallas have also emphasized the growing success of the company. Several designs sold out and numerous requests by pro shops, golf stores and tournaments were made to carry the B.G.D. line.

The motivation behind B.G.D. was to create golf apparel with an edge for today’s modern golfer. The days of the single color polo, triple-pleated khakis and winged-tip saddle golf shoe are over. B.G.D. is the front runner in offering today’s modern golfer with a unique and hip alternative to their choice of golf apparel. T-shirt designs are intelligent and eye catching, while the golf apparel line is made from modern fabrics to assist in keeping cool and dry on the golf course while still looking stylish.
